We are pleased to offer onsite accommodation, with 10 luxurious bedrooms in the House and the rustic charm of our converted Victorian stables offering a further 20 bedrooms. Come together again for a home-cooked breakfast in the Morning Room to share stories of the night before.

We are delighted to offer ten luxury master bedrooms in the Main House. Each bedroom has been individually designed and furnished, decorated in stunning fabrics and bespoke furniture, with seating areas, flat screen TVs, and beautiful views of the Estate. Each with their own fabulous en-suite, two of the bedrooms offer an elegant free standing bath in addition to invigorating rainforest showers.
Uniquely named after previous occupants of the House, all bedrooms are super-king rooms, except for one (Sir John/Lady Eliza) which is a suite/family room comprising of a super-king room and an interconnecting twin room – ideal for families or groups of friends. The choice is yours – we hope you love them as much as we do!

The sympathetically converted Victorian Stables are located within the estate and comprise of the Clock Tower and the Mews, both of which are positioned around a central cobbled courtyard. The accommodation offers 20 basic ensuite bedrooms (all with showers), arranged over the ground and first floors. The Stables is accessed via a private track (spare sensible shoes advised) and offers its own ample parking and plenty of outdoor space.
The Stables can sleep up to 41 adults, for those with children under the age of 16 family rooms with bunk beds are also available.
Grittleton House is an exclusive-use wedding and events venue in Wiltshire rather than a hotel, so we don't operate a public restaurant or bar. Food and drink is provided as part of your pre-arranged wedding or event, organised by the couple or hosts. For anything additional, there's a lovely pub in the village, just a two-minute walk away.
Yes - overnight accommodation is available for all wedding celebrations at Grittleton House.
House Bedrooms: 10 luxury bedrooms in the main house, accommodating up to 26 guests. Each room is individually decorated to the highest standard with super king beds, sumptuous duvets and pillows, and an ensuite bathroom - available for all weddings.
Stables Bedrooms: 20 rustic rooms at the Old Stables, typically accommodating 40 guests, although some are suitable for families with additional bunk beds - available for weekend and some weekday weddings.

We're pleased to offer 2 pet-friendly Stables Bedrooms - unfortunately dogs aren't permitted in the House Bedrooms or any dining rooms. Please get in touch for full details, as an additional charge applies. Bedrooms are allocated by the lead booker, so we can't always guarantee your request.
The Stables Bedrooms are just a short 2-minute walk from the main house. We'd suggest bringing comfortable shoes for the walk over - the path isn't stiletto-friendly!

Grittleton House is a private wedding venue in Wiltshire, not a hotel. Our onsite accommodation - House Bedrooms and Stables Bedrooms - must always be booked and coordinated through the wedding couple.
Our luxury House Bedrooms in our house accommodation are individually designed, combining traditional elegance with contemporary style. Each bathroom is equipped with toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner and body wash, plus a hairdryer, with a shared iron and ironing board available for guest use. Every room has tea and coffee-making facilities and a snack basket. Our Stables Bedrooms are more moderately priced but offer the same toiletries and tea and coffee facilities - please note there's no hairdryer in the Stables rooms.
Yes, if you require additional overflow accommodation, glamping is a great seasonal option! Please note Glamping is only permitted once all onsite accommodation has been booked. No Tents, motorhomes or campervans are permitted on site.
The Glamping Tents do not have power and you will also be required to hire a toilet and shower block. We are partnered with a great glamping company who can provide these services.
We want you to enjoy your stay right up until the last minute - non-resident guests are very welcome to join you for breakfast. Any additional guests must be booked and paid for in advance.
Check-in is typically from 4pm on your wedding date, with check-out the next morning at 10.30am. Please check with your wedding couple for their specific accommodation arrangements.
