Onsite accommodation, with 10 luxurious state bedrooms in the Main House, and the rustic charm of our converted Victorian stables offering a further 20 bedrooms. The bedrooms offer flexible onsite accommodation for a minimum of 60 guests, with breakfast included, served from the Main House for all guests.
Accommodation is only available when booked as part of an Exclusive Hire of Grittleton House. We are not a hotel, it is not possible to book individual rooms.

We are delighted to offer ten luxury master bedrooms in the Main House, restoring historical rooms back to their former glory. Each bedroom has been individually designed and furnished, decorated in stunning fabrics and bespoke furniture, with seating areas, flat screen tvs, and beautiful views of the Estate. Each with their own fabulous en-suite, two of the bedrooms offer an elegant free standing bath in addition to invigorating rainforest showers.
Uniquely named after previous occupants of the House, all bedrooms are super-king rooms, except for one (Sir John/Lady Eliza) which is a suite/family room comprising of a super-king room and an interconnecting twin room – ideal for families or groups of friends. The sympathetically converted Victorian Stables are located within the estate and comprise of the Clock Tower and the Mews, both of which are positioned around a central cobbled courtyard. The accommodation offers 20 basic ensuite bedrooms (all with showers), arranged over the ground and first floors. The Stables is accessed via a private track (spare sensible shoes advised) and offers its own ample parking and plenty of outdoor space.
The Stables can sleep up to 41 adults, for those with children under the age of 16 family rooms with bunk beds are also available.
If you fancy something different and require additional accommodation, why not try glamping, a great seasonal option and make the most of our beautiful grounds.
Yes, if you require additional overflow accommodation, glamping is a great seasonal option. It is worth noting, tents do not have power and you will also be required to hire a toilet and shower block. We are partnered with a great glamping company who will service all your needs. Please refer to our preferred suppliers list.
We want you to enjoy your stay, until the very last minute. Non-residents are very welcome at breakfast, any additional guests must be booked and paid for in advance as part of the accommodation invoice.

There are 11 luxury bedrooms located in the main House, all individually decorated to the highest standard with huge comfortable beds and sumptuous duvets and pillows, these are available for all weddings. There are a further 20 bedrooms within the estate, located at the Old Stables, these are available for weekends and some weekdays.
Yes, we are pleased to offer 2 pet friendly bedrooms at the Stables, unfortunately your furry friends are not permitted in our house bedrooms or any dining rooms. Please enquire for full details an additional charge will apply.
