The atmosphere comes alive from the moment you arrive. Guests are welcomed from 7pm, dinner is served at 8pm, and the celebrations continue until midnight. With elegant surroundings, exceptional food, a variety of bars, and plenty of entertainment, Grittleton House provides the perfect setting to begin your festive celebrations. We are ideally located within easy access to Chippenham, Swindon, Bath & Bristol, just off junction 17 or 18 of the M4.
With accommodation on site, why not book an overnight stay, to complete your experience.
Our Christmas Party Nights start at 7pm, with carriages at midnight. Food is served at 8pm, with the dodgems and fun casino opening after the food service.
It's party time, so dress to impress - the more sparkle, the better! Please, no jeans or trainers.
Yes, we offer a manned cloakroom - please keep hold of your ticket and remember to collect your belongings at the end of the evening. Any items left behind will be held for 28 days before being donated to a local charity or disposed of.
Yes, there's plenty of parking for guests along the main driveway. We ask that the front of the house is kept clear of vehicles (except disabled parking) to allow for photographs and emergency vehicles. Additional parking is available at the Stables for guests who've booked accommodation.

No - our Christmas party nights are booked by table. You can book tables for 6, 8, 10, 12 or 14 guests, and you're welcome to book more than one table.

No alcohol may be brought onto the premises - all drinks must be purchased from Grittleton House. We reserve the right to ask any guest to leave if they're seen drinking their own alcohol anywhere on site.
Yes, we offer a pre-order drinks service - details will be emailed to you. If you've pre-ordered, please collect your drinks from the bar at the foot of the stairs, where our staff will be on hand to help. Please bring a copy of your invoice or order with you.
Yes, all of our bars accept both cash and card payments.
Yes - we can offer your company a variety of pre-arranged drinks options, from drinks vouchers to a pre-paid bar, all secured with a credit card. Get in touch to discuss options: Christmas@grittletonhouse.co.uk
You can change your Christmas party menu choices up until the published deadline, after which no further changes can be made.
Yes - booking is online, and tables are booked by dining room. Take a look at our floor plan; please note the live band performs in the Orangery.
If you can't see the table size you need, or you're booking for a larger group, please contact us at christmas@grittletonhouse.co.uk.
Yes - please bring a table plan for your group with individual name places, clearly showing each guest's menu choice and any allergens.
Your booking is non-refundable, and we're unable to refund individual places or whole tables. You can replace a guest with someone new. If your group size increases, it may be possible to add extra guests to your table - please contact us to discuss: Christmas@grittletonhouse.co.uk
No unfortunately bookings are non-refundable.
Unfortunately not - House Bedrooms cannot be booked individually. They are for group bookings only.
The Stables Bedrooms are just a short 2-minute walk from the main house. We'd suggest bringing comfortable shoes for the walk over - the path isn't stiletto-friendly!
Yes, cars can be left overnight. They're parked and left at your own risk, so please collect your car promptly the following morning.
Yes, you'll need to pre-book a taxi in advance. Grittleton is a rural location with no passing traffic.
Please note we're not a hotel, so we're unable to offer early check-in. Accommodation check-in is at the main house from 5.30pm on the day of your Christmas party, with check-out the following morning by 10.30am - please return your key to the main house (a charge applies for any lost keys). The venue bar will open at 6.30pm for residential guests.
Yes, a full English Breakfast is included in your accommodation, and is served from the Morning Room in Grittleton House, this is for ALL guests. Breakfast is served between 8.30am & 9.30am each morning.
