As Grittleton House is an Event Venue and not a hotel we are not at this time able to offer any rooms in the main house. We are however able to offer accommodation at the Old Stables, which is located within the grounds. Our happy couples and event organisers are able to hire the self contained facility at the Old Stables for their guests. As part of this unique facility we can sleep up to 41 adults, for those with children under the age of 16 family rooms with bunk beds are also available.
The sympathetically converted Victorian Stables are located on the edge of the estate comprise of the Clock Tower and the Mews, both of which are positioned around a central cobbled courtyard. The accommodation offers 20 ensuite bedrooms (all with showers), arranged over the ground and first floors. There is also a wood panelled lounge and large breakfast room, we offer simple accommodation which is a contrast to the grandeur of the ‘Big House’. The Old Stables is accessed via a private track (spare sensible shoes advised) and offers its own ample parking and plenty of outdoor space. Unfortunately we do not take individual bookings, all bookings are made via the bridal party or event organiser. As part of your initial visit organisers can be shown the accommodation prior to booking.
