Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th April (further dates to be announced)
The combination of the sun and the rain, means the tulips are now rapidly starting to pop up. We will be opening the private gardens and grounds of Grittleton House, on some specially selected dates so you can come and enjoy the fabulous show of spring flowers. The grounds have been lovingly tended over the last few months and are desperate to be admired, with weddings still on hold we want to invite you to enjoy them. You will have access to the Sunken Italian Garden with the stunning display of formal Tulip beds, plus 36 acres of parkland including the tulips along the main drive.
We know how important it will be to spend time with family and friends, once we are allowed, and want to invite you to enjoy the grounds. You are welcome to bring a picnic, all we ask is that you follow Covid requirements, do not visit us in groups of more than 6, and please take your rubbish home with you and sorry but there is a strictly NO DOGS rule.
There is no need to book, you are welcome between the hours of 10am and 4pm, with gates closing at 4.30pm. Please keep an eye on our social media for future dates, we will also update here on our website, once the tulips have decided to make a full appearnce.
On this occasion the House will not be open, so there will be no access to any facilities.
