Welcome to all you lovely romantics, following the impact of Covid, we are thrilled to have had a very very busy eighteen months. It has been just wonderful to welcome our couples back to the Estate and play a part in their most special of days. Each and every occasion has been special and individual, although the one thing always in common is the love shared between the couple and between them and their guests. Our job really is the best and we love it when the House is full of happiness.
We always like to keep busy and continue to make improvements and keep the house dressed and looking at its best. We have two more gorgeous bedrooms in the main house, now taking us to a total of 11 luxury rooms and a further 20 at the Old Stables. We’ve also been continuing the work on the roof and reinstating some of the old Victorian heating systems (they really were amazing engineers). We’ve also introduced a new room, which was previously kept by the family, ‘The Billiard Room’. This is located in the heart of the House and opposite the bar, the perfect location for your evening dancing. There are also lots of other lovely new touches throughout the House. We know you will be as excited as we are, to see what we have been up to.
Our Wedding Open House, is a regular date in the calendar, and offers the perfect opportunity for those that have already booked and those that are still searching for the perfect venue to come and have a wander. Our fabulous suppliers will dress the house for a wedding, giving you lots of ideas as to how your special day at Grittleton House could also look.
