The Southern Suite is entered by the Western Porch leading into the entrance hall with its magnificent working fire place.  The suite comprises of the elegant and spacious Red and Yellow galleries and the Library.  The state rooms all have high decorative ceilings and original features including beautiful fireplaces worthy of any state room.  The Library forms the heart of the house, with its impressive original glass encased bookcases.  The Red Gallery can seat up to 124 guests formally and the suite can accommodate up to 250 guests for a more informal occasion. 

The southern suite is perfect for all occasions and has ample space for bands or discos, bars and seating areas.

Please note Grittleton House comprises two suites, the Northern and Southern Suite, each suite has its own amenities and facilities and runs independently of each other.  If however you require exclusive use please refer to our price list as there is an additional charge.
