For a truly romantic day and for those wishing for an alternative to a religious service we offer the facilities for a traditional Civil Wedding Ceremony.  A Civil Wedding Ceremony is a memorable ceremony and celebration to mark the fulfilment of the dreams and wishes of the bride and groom.  Couples can choose to compile and say their own vows, read poems and play special pieces of music.  

Guests are invited to arrive prior to the ceremony and take their seat in one of our licensed ceremony rooms, a particular favourite is the Library.  The ceremony itself is conducted by the registrar and is a non-religious ceremony.

The beauty of a civil wedding is that your perfect day can all take place under the canopy of one venue so you can make the most of every minute of the day.  After the ceremony guests can spill outside into the gardens and enjoy a refreshing reception drink.  If the weather is inclement there are plenty of places for guests to chat, whilst the photographer takes control.
