The Old Stables are situated within the grounds of a large Victorian Manor House and are set away from the main house. The Old Stables have a unique and tranquil charm that we hope will instil a wonderful feeling of relaxation, interest and history. The Tower House comprises a lounge with 42” flat TV screen with freesat, dining room and full commercial kitchen. The Carriage House is a versatile space that can be used as a games room, meeting room or lecture hall. There is a 10’ screen and projector, DVD BluRay Sat TV, 7 surround speakers which can be linked to an iPod or mp3 player. There are also built in disco lights that react to sound.
Bedrooms
We have 20 rooms available all ensuite. These comprise 3 singles, the remainder are a variety of room sizes sleeping from 2 to 4 people. We can accommodate between 40 - 55 guests on this basis. We are also able to offer bunk bedrooms sleeping between 4 - 8 people per room if you require a larger sleeping capacity, maximum 90.
Thirty acres of manicured arboretum, parkland and formal gardens. Courtyard for BBQs and alfresco dining. Tennis Courts, Netball courts, Football pitch and other outdoor sporting facilities, all available with prior arrangement (seasonal).
Local Attractions and Local Amenities
Grittleton is well situated and is with easy access to many interesting towns and villages. There is also an extensive array of activities within the locality. Please refer to the local attractions and local amenities pages on the website. There are also many good local pubs serving a selection of ales and local food. The Neeld Arms pub is situated within the village and is a 5 minute walk and comes highly recommended www.neeldarms.co.uk.
Full Board
Full board includes 8am breakfast (cooked and continental), 12.30 light or packed lunch, 6pm three course evening meal.
The evening meal will comprise a daily set menu of soup and a roll, main meal and a dessert.
