The Old Stables Bed & Breakfast is conveniently located within the grounds of Grittleton House and is newly converted for the summer of 2010.
Bedrooms - We have eighteen rooms available; three singles, up to eight doubles and the remaining are twins or family rooms, this also includes the bridal room. All of the rooms are ensuite.
Bridal Package - The bridal room is a large double room with beautiful views of the grounds and house and includes champagne, flowers and chocolates.
Lounge – The spacious lounge is available for all guests and offers a 42" flat TV screen with freeview, there is also wireless internet connection. Bridal parties that book a minimum of eight rooms for Friday night and all rooms for Saturday night, may also have exclusive use of the light and airy lounge, this is a perfect space for the bride and her bridesmaids to get ready for the big day. Enjoy the preparations and surround yourself with close family and friends whilst you are pampered by your choice of hairdresser and make-up artist.
Dining Room – Breakfast is served in the beautifully converted stables located in the Tower House. By special arrangement we can also cater for supper parties on the eve of your wedding day, prices on application.
Carriage House – This is a fabulous building with wonderfully high ceilings and original features, by special arrangement we can cater for buffet lunches and BBQ’s on the day after your wedding, helping you to make the most of this very special occasion, prices on application.

Please note we cannot guarantee exclusivity, all rooms are booked on a first come first served basis.
A booking will only be confirmed once all of the following information has been received; booking form ~ deposit per room per night ~ guest information form.
All bookings must be made via the wedding party; we cannot take bookings from individual guests.
We require a minimum booking of eight rooms per night.
Bridal parties that book a minimum of eight rooms for Friday night and all rooms for Saturday night, may also have exclusive use of the lounge.
Check in time is between 4pm and 6pm on Friday and 12noon - 2pm on Saturday, check out time is 11am, if you require an alternative check in/out time this must be arranged in advance with Vanessa Shipp.
The Old Stables is a strictly non smoking establishment
The Old Stables are located near to some residential houses. Guests are requested to keep noise to an acceptable level during their stay.
We do not accept debit or credit cards payment is required by cheque or cash.
